Meat thermometer
Ok there is really no turning back now. I better make that turkey no matter what. I just blew 30 bucks on a meat thermometer. I will need to make a roast for Deepavali and a rack of lamb for Onam if I want to get any mileage out of it.

oooh they do that? My fridge is pretty empty now cos i just threw out a lot of stale food. Will be getting a turkey on the 22nd and will do a slow defrost in the fridge so the turkey will be ready for brining on the 24th and all set for roasting on the 25th!

Rack of Lamb for Onam? U got to be kidding unless it's one of those heavily processed and chemicalised soya thingies they call vegetarian meat! Try entering the house with a rack of lamb on Onam. Your mama's third eye will blast u to smitherin!
