Day 10 - Tokyo
Brunch was ramen at a little shop at the subway station and one of the best that I have had. Tad bit salty from the miso that was used but the broth was good.
After lunch we headed down to Ueno market where there was a lot to see and eat
blood red octopus
unagi and fish roe
street food
meow
and visited a chain of Engrish pubs called the hub... green tea and malibu is a great combo
From Ueon we went to Akihabara, also know as Akihabara Electric Town. A total geek paradise but I wasn't feeling like one that day so most of the time there was spent in a pretty large toyshop there.
Dinner was at Sapporo Lion Beer hall where we had a light dinner as we were heading out to Ageha later that night
I dunno what this is called but its like potatoes and sausage on a hotplate. Oishi!
yum...
good pasta with clams
Ageha was a blast. Cool space with three dance areas(one outdoor with pool!) and we met some interesting characters(and a few topless ones). We got home at about 5am(the sun was already up when we were leaving the venue)
Of course after all that drinking I had to have a bento to help me sleep.
