Chatterbox chicken rice

*Sigh* Just my luck to finally try the famous Chatterbox chicken rice, only to be disappointed by dry, tasteless and rubbery chicken. I know it was the breasts part (which i prefer, stay away thigh fans!) but if done right, breasts can be very tasty. My dining partner who is a Chatterbox dining veteran(also a chicken breasts fan btw) said it tasted far better on his previous visits...Everything else was good tho, the chilli and rice was perfect.
Oh well, will just stick to Boon Tong Kee and 5 Star Hainanese chicken rice.
